Dr. Sandarrshini B K
Dr. Sandarshini, Education expert, a woman empowerment activist and social worker. Dr. Sandharshini was born in Bande kodigena halli village Karnataka on 9th march 1979 born to Sri. B.G.Krishna murthy, and Smt. Sakunthala a middle class family. She finished her primary education in higher primary secondary school in B.K HALLI, where she stood first in studies in the surrounding villages and received rural merit scholarship for her further studies. Later she joined MSV school in Malleshwaram there also she was an outstanding student. She also represented district level girl’s kho-kho from the school. Later she joined Maharani Lakshmi ammani collage, Malleshwaram to pursue her PUC (PCMB). Further she did her B.sc Micro-biology from Sheshadripuram first grade collage Yalahanka. Then got master degree in bio-technology from CMR College. M.phil, Phd from Barathidasan university Tamilnadu and BEd from Bangalore University. She started her teaching carrier as assistant lecturer at RKIMCS collage Bangalore then as a lecturer and HOD department in BT in CMRIMS. Later wanted to started and bring changes in the society she started own school at Attur layout Yelahanka inculcating culture based modern education with strong basement for school children. She started 2nd school at B.K.Halli. Presently around 500 students around 30 staffs and around 1000 parent are associated with these schools. She is also a women activist conducting many social welfare programs, awareness programs, health camps to the society. She also educates single parent’s students / SC/ST/OBC poor student’s from the nearby locality. She was awarded best teacher award, she has written many articles and she was also awarded the prestigious AKKA award in the year 2016.
NOMINEES IMPACT REPORT:
-Around 70% of Nursery students were engaged in online activities.
-Around 75 % of Primary Students were engaged in online classes.
-Around 95% of Higher Primary students were engaged in online classes.
-Teachers were made to learn effective usage of Digital content.
-Parents were happy & welcomed the online activities.
